Bayview Boathouse at Gippsland Lakes was built as a farmers cottage in the late 1800's, nestled right on the shores of Jones Bay, just 9 minutes from the country town of Bairnsdale.

Jones Bay is very special part of the great Gippsland Lakes system; as such it commands spectacular views across the lake and over private farmland. As a fully self contained RACV**** rated cottage, it offers an unforgettable opportunity to experience the ambience and privacy of Australia's earliest buildings. Luxurious inside with antique fittings give this accommodation lodge a very warm glow.

Either as a romantic getaway or a family hideaway, this Gippsland Lakes venue is heaven sent. Complete quiet and privacy is assured with your hosts occupying detached buildings. Should you tire of the natural springs, there is always the 8 person spa inside a glassed gazebo overlooking the lake. For a little activity, catch a bream for tea off your private jetty and use the well-equipped BBQ and entertaining area, or play a little golf on the 2-hole golf course. You have your own private beach with canoes, where you can just drift around with the glorious bird life.
